Know a venue?
Do you know of venues where you would like to see line dancing? Let us know — a good floor and a willing host is all it takes to get something started.
Heartville isn't a place on a map. It's a place we create together every time we step onto the dance floor — a community built on connection, encouragement, and the joy of dancing.
Heartville Dance is based in Portland, TN, offering line dance classes and events in the surrounding communities.
Erika has been line dancing since 2015 and teaching since 2021, when she founded the predecessor of Heartville Dance back in Colorado. She is focused on fostering connection and building a community while teaching proper technique and having fun dancing.
Erika loves learning and attending dance classes and workshops. She has completed the National Teachers' Association (NTA) Accreditation Program levels I–V, and currently serves as the NTA regional director for Tennessee and interim Director of Advertising and Promotions.
Besides line dancing, Erika enjoys dancing country swing, Brazilian zouk, bachata, and salsa, and has dabbled in a few country partner dance styles — nightclub two step, waltz, and two step, as well as kizomba.
